Winter Blues

 This winter was rough. I lost 8 hives, which is the most that I ever lost during the winter in 10 years of being a beekeeper. I know why. I got busy and did ot keep my treatment schedule up like I hd in past years. I went into winter with an unacceptable mite load.

That being said, I am happy for the 20 remaining hives that I have. Many are bursting at the seams. #timetosplit
